Dolphin Odyssey Swim Experience

Explore the ocean’s most loved creatures during this deep-water experience. You’ll begin your adventure by putting on a wetsuit and meeting one of our trainers for a course on dolphin physiology and behavior. Then, it’s time to get in the water and make a new friend. You’ll have approximately 30 minutes to share all sorts of behaviors, including kisses, handshakes, rubs, training techniques and feeding your new friend. Hang on! The experience is highlighted by an awesome dorsal pull that’ll show you the true power of these amazing creatures. With your experience you’ll also enjoy a full day of shows and exhibits at Miami Seaquarium.

Inclusion

A 15 minute educational classroom presentation prior to entering the water.

A 30 minute deep water experience including touching, feeding and training with a dolphin. You'll also swim into deeper water for more interactions and even have the chance to get a dolphin ride across the pool.

Personal photo opportunities with a dolphin.

A wetsuit and towel are provided for use during the session.

Complimentary admission to all Miami Seaquarium shows and exhibits for the day.

Hours of operation

Available daily; Park is open 10:00am - 6:00pm. Program times at 10:30am, 11:15am, 3:15pm. Guests must arrive 15 minutes prior to interaction.

Duration

Approximately 30 minute dolphin encounter. Please allow about 1.5 hours for entire program.

Location

Miami Seaquarium is located at 4400 Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami.

Participant restrictions

Minimum height requirement is 52". No exceptions. (52" = 4'4 = 132cm).

Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a paying adult as an observer or participant.

All Participants must be able to understand directions given in English or provide a translator who will also be participating in the water with them.

Observing children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

This program is not available to expectant mothers.

Participants are not permitted to wear jewelry or piercings during any of the animal interactions.

Things you should know before your visit:

Advanced reservations are strongly suggested.

Please allow about 1 ½ hour for program.

A wetsuit & towel are provided for use during your experience.

Guests should bring their own bathing suits.

As an Odyssey participant or an Observer you’ll receive complimentary admission to all Miami Seaquarium shows and exhibits for that day.

Policies

Cancellation: 29 days prior 50% penalty. 14 days prior 75% penalty. 7 days prior 100% penalty. No show always 100% penalty.

Please arrive early. If a guest is more than 15 minutes late they will not be allowed to swim with the dolphins.

Observers may only be booked with a Dolphin Harbor participant. Paid observers receive complimentary park admission. Observers under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Changing the date of your scheduled program within 8-30 days is subject to a $25 fee per person.
