Among its places of interest we have Granada Islets located in Cocibolca lake, where you can enjoy a boat ride by the lake, and of course, a horse carriage tour throught the oldest city of America to admire its churches, old colonial houses, museums, art galeries and central square.

When Mombacho Volcano made an eruption long time ago, it literally blew its top up throwing rocks into lake Nicaragua. As result of this violent eruption, 365 small islands where formed in front of Granada City as we know it today. The size of the islands vary between one hundred square meters to one hundred hectares. Enjoy a boat ride in the calmed waters of the peninsula while watching the spectacular landscape, a rich biodiversity on also the tranquil life of the locals.
