Between rapids you will experience calmer stretches of river, with a unique perspective of the historic Kawarau Bungy Bridge as your raft passes under. The Grande Finale is the unforgettable 400 meter Dog Leg Rapid to end your trip on New Zealand’s largest volume commercially rafted river.

Hours of operation

Available: Daily; Departs: 8:15am and 1:00pm.

Duration

Half Day (Approximately 4-5 hours).

Additional Information

All you need to bring is swimwear and a towel. In the winter months you can wear thermals underneath the wet suits for extra warmth.

Participant restrictions

Participants must be at least 13 years of age.

Those under 16 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Those under 18 years must have signed parent/guardian consent.

MINIMUM weight of 40 KG for Rafting.

Basic swimming skills are required for everyone participating in white water rafting.

Pregnant women are unable to participate in any of these activities.

If you have any previous neck or back injuries please provide details.

Policies

All rafting trips require a minimum number of 8 passengers for departures. Bookings will be accepted for numbers less than the required minimum number on the basis that bookings will be coordinated to achieve minimum numbers.

A child waiver form must be signed by a guardian. Forms supplied at time of travel.

All tours operate weather permitting.

Guests wanting to make changes are required to contact reservations at least 48 hours prior to departure.
