Visit the beautiful city of “Suchitoto”, meaning "Place of Birds and Flowers”, in Nahuatl. The city of Suchitoto offers the essence of the old colonial architecture. Visit its beautiful cobbled streets, art galleries, the Ruins’ Theater, the House of Crafts and the Santa Lucia Church, built in 1853, one of the main attractions of the city for its architecture and its historical significance. Then visit the Lake Suchitlán, a 135 square kms artificial lake with the largest area of water in the country.
