One Day Tour Copan

Itinerary

9:00am - Maya World Tours representative will be waiting for you at the Tablones airstrip in Copan, for the transfer to the ruins of Copan (about 35 minutes) on a road full of interesting rural scenes and lush mountains.

Upon reaching the ruins, you take a guided tour to the main archaeological site, including the Acropolis, the Ball Game Court, The Hieroglyphic Stairway, and great Stela Plaza, then visit the Museum of Mayan Sculpture, acclaimed by experts as the only in the Mayan World. Within the Temple Museum is a masterpiece – Rosalila, discovered in 1989.

At noon, lunch will be served in the charming town of Copán Ruinas. There will be time to walk the streets and do some shopping before boarding our return trip in the afternoon.
