Itinerary
This Dubrovnik tour will begin with a circuit up the hills and to the heights above the city, stopping at three lookout points along the way.
First up, the Franjo Tudman Bridge, a cable-stayed bridge with views down to the new harbor of Dubrovnik on one side, and, on the other, out to the green paradises of the Elaphiti Islands.
Next up, you’ll take a ride along the main coastal road above Dubrovnik, where you can admire the view down to the Old Town and out to the island of Lokrum.
Lastly, you’ll head to the top of Srd mountain (420 metres above the Old Town and a historic protector of the city), where large buses can’t venture and you’ll have one of the greatest panoramic views of the town. Your view will stretch beyond the islands to Cavtat, and across the green landscape of Dubrovnik’s backcountry.
Once we’re finished with our heads in the sky, it’s time to head back down to the ground!
You’ll have your choice of venturing into the old town center along the main street of Stradun, or we can take the cable car directly down to the old town — it’s your day, after all! Once we’re in the old quarter, you’ll get the story on Dubrovnik from the 7th century through to today. Learn about the people who have shaped the city over the centuries, and get the inside scoop on which monasteries, churches, museums, and galleries you should visit later during your stay.
