Swim with Dolphins

This one hour program experience begins with an educational presentation that will give you a deeper understanding of the dolphins' physiology, environment and the training techniques used to communicate with these amazing animals. Following the orientation, small groups begin their thrilling in water dolphin experience. As you become acquainted with our dolphins through hugs, kisses and caresses, you will notice that the dolphins enjoy interacting with you. Then you can swim and play with your dolphin maybe even take an exciting speedy ride, dorsal tow or foot push.

Inclusion

Life-jacket; Lockers; Bilingual instructor; Interaction with sea lions or a family photo with sea lions; Box lunch.

Exclusion

Round trip transportation to the Dolphin center; Videos or photos; Gratuities.

Hours of operation

Available: Daily; Starts at 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm and 5:00pm.

Please check-in at meeting place at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.

Duration

Approximately 1 hour (Orientation: 15 minutes; Water time: 30 minutes; DVD viewing of your program: 15 minutes).

Meeting place: Dolphin center at Aquaventuras Water Park. Please check in at least 30 minutes prior to departure.

Participation restrictions

This tour is not recommended for pregnant women and people with back problems.

Children under 8 years old or less than 4 feet, will need to be with a paying adult during the activity.

Not recommendable for children under the age of 5. If child from 0-4 wishes to do the tour, child rate applies. In case a child is not able to do all the behaviors because of young age, or decides to leave the platform before the program is over, partial refunds do not apply.

Additional Information

Bring swim wear, towel, money and camera (video or cameras are not allowed into the water).
