During this tour your guide will show the sites and events that changed the course of world history. Delve into the troubled times leading up to the storming of the Bastille Prison, the overthrow of the king, and the Reign of Terror. See where Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI were beheaded and walk the paths of the revolutionaries.

Points of interest: Place de la Concorde; Assemblée Nationale; Les Invalides; La Conciergerie; Reign of Terror.

Location

Your tour meets at the métro station exit Les Invalides (line 8, line 13) on street level. Your guide will be holding a Fat Tire Tours sign.

If you are arriving via the RER C exit walk with your back to the river past the Air France building towards the park. The first main road is Rue de L’Université. You’ll see the metro sign in front of you on the right. The street address is 105 Rue de l’Université on the corner of Rue de Constantine.
