Just as in the “good old days”, when the Viennese would travel up to the hills of Vienna by cog railway, the Vienna Heuriger Express (a train on wheels!), takes the visitors through the beautiful vineyards on the hills of Vienna, and up to the wine-growing villages of Grinzing or Nussdorf. Sit back and enjoy the ride, while breathing in the fresh air and admiring the spectacular views over the city. The journey takes you through the picturesque wine-growing areas, past the elegant villas of famous personalities and ends in one of the wine-growing villages, which today have still retained much of their former character.
